Frequently asked questions
The honey used for our New Zealand Honey Powder is sourced exclusively from suppliers that operate a Government-certified food safety program. We carefully select honey from various regions across New Zealand, ranging from North Cape to Otago, ensuring the highest quality for our honey powder.
While honey is not recommended for infants below 12 months due to the potential risk of infantile botulism, it is safe for older children and adults. However, individuals with honey allergies should avoid honey powder products. Certain products may contain added propolis, which carries a health warning.
Our NZ Honey Powder products contain maltodextrin, which acts as a stabilizer during storage. For trade customers. Maltodextrin is a non-GMO gluten free corn starch commonly used in food production.
Our products are completely peanut and tree nut-free. Our manufacturing facility processes no nuts of any kind, eliminating the risk of contamination.
We ensure that our products are non-GMO. The honey sourced from New Zealand is GMO-free, and all ingredients, including maltodextrin, used in the manufacturing process are certified as non-GMO.
The shelf life of our honey powder and Honey Powder products is 3 years if stored in a cool and dry environment. Store the product at or below 25 degrees Celsius. Refrigeration is ideal! Please refer to the "Best By" date indicated on the side of each package for specific product shelf life. Shelf life extension can be considered if the packaging is sealed and product free flowing.
